Digital Budget Template w/Google Sheets: Tutorial
I recently relaunched a new and improved digital budget template for use with Google Sheets. I can tell you as a user of this exact budget: it’s great (even if I do say so myself!).
But I can’t take all the credit. The main reason I love the budget template is down to Google Sheets. You can download Google Sheets on your various devices and then update anywhere. For budgeting, this means that you have access to your budget at all times, across all devices. As I do the budget for our household, it means my partner can share access with me and can make updates, or see my updates. It’s a budget template Google Sheets compatible, which makes budgeting so easy and convenient.
As for the budget itself, there are different tabs for income, fixed expenses and variable expenses. You simply fill these in once, update when you spend, and the budget auto-adjusts; doing the hard work for you. There are tabs for debts and savings which you can breakdown by category. And the key information you need from each of these tabs is collated for you automatically on the main tab of the budget so you know exactly where you stand financially at all times.
A budget template Google Sheets compatible for UK users was really difficult for me to find when I started out on my debt free journey, and I’ve had to create something from scratch that was user-friendly and made budgeting as simple as possible. So I’m really excited to launch this product to help others pay off debt.
To get the best use from the budget or get tips on how to do your own, I’ve released a tutorial on IGTV. You can access my IGTV tutorial here.
I’d love it if you checked it out, so come watch my video and don’t forget to say hi!
